In Oct 2013, Flogas installer Brendan Martin of Heat Services Network, stepped in on behalf of Flogas to officially present Flogas-sponsored jerseys to Padraig Killeen, manager of the U12s football team at St. Brendan’s Park FC in Tralee.
The occasion was the first round of the SFAI Danone Nations National Cup and the Flogas jerseys got a fine ‘run-out’ by the young and enthusiastic team, who went onto win the match 6-3 against Broadford United. At the presentation, U12s manager Padraig Killeen said, “On behalf of the Club, many thanks to Flogas for sponsoring the jerseys. This is the first time that our team has competed in the Schoolboys National Cup and we are hoping that the new jerseys will bring us great success this season.”
St. Brendans Park FC was set up in 1971 and is now one of the biggest and most respected clubs in Kerry soccer, winning many Premier League, Division 1 and Cup Championship titles over the years.
