Flogas is delighted to be a race sponsor for the inaugural View of the Valley race on Saturday 8th April 2017 which takes place at Todd’s Leap, Ballygawley. The purpose of the View of the Valley Duathlon is to help support three charity groups that help those in need throughout Northern Ireland - Charis Cancer Care Centre, Alzheimer’s Society and Action on Hearing Loss.
The duathlon comprises of a six mile run and a 19 and a half mile cycle and the organisers are looking at the possibility of a zip line finish to help participants cool down at the end of the race.
Damien McColgan, fundraising executive for Action on Hearing Loss, said, "I wish to thank Flogas for their generous donation in supporting the 3 charity View of the Valley sporting event. With Flogas’ support we will be able to help with any costs of the event so that more money goes directly to the charities local causes".
Paul Ruegg, senior marketing executive for Flogas, comments, "We hope the inaugural View of the Valley Race proves popular as it is fantastic to have three local charities benefitting from the one event.
